Year 7 Radio Stars and Free Thinkers
On Wednesday the 15th of March thirteen lucky students from Mrs Warr’s Year 7 English class were chosen to go on a special trip, a trip to the iconic Sage on the banks of the Tyne in Gateshead.

As part of presenting their work from REAL projects to an authentic audience, ten students from Year 8 were involved in a conference entitled “Bridge to the Stars. Many Classrooms, One World”.
I took 12 year 13 Biology students on a visit to the Centre for Life in Newcastle to analyse part of our genome using specialist equipment in the lab.
At the beginning of February half term 30 students from Year 8, 9 and 10 visited the Opal Coast in Northern France.
Last week, a group of six girls in year 10 went to the Lake District to take part in the Lakeside Challenge at the YMCA outdoor activity centre.
The Shine 9 Group visited London and the Houses of Parliament.
