From Mr M Hall (Principal):
12 February 2021
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we approach the end of this half term, may we take the opportunity to remind you that students will be on a half term break between Monday 15 and Friday 19 February, returning to online learning on Monday 22 February, 8:30am. We would very much encourage students to take some time to rest, relax and spend time catching up with family and friends, albeit in a safe and socially distanced way.
We will be closely monitoring the Government’s updates and will endeavour to provide as much information as possible, as and when it becomes available, in relation to the wider reopening of Grace College. An important process to note is that mass testing using the lateral flow devices is likely to take place for all students before they return. This may well mean a staggered return to school, starting with exam year groups. Please complete our online consent form for the Lateral Flow Testing
Teachers and tutors have been particularly impressed with the extent to which students have engaged with their learning during this lockdown. Please take time to read the information provided by Mrs Ramsden describing just how marvellously well students have been working over this half term.
We are stronger when we stay connected. Our intention, as always, is to ensure that we work in partnership with the wider community. Let us be reminded that, “Alone we can do little; together we can do so much” (Helen Keller).
Yours faithfully,
Mr M Hall
Principal
