Dear Parents and Carers,
Advent is here as is the return of the Advent Lights!
St. George’s Church has kindly invited us to work with them to adorn our windows with the theme of ‘HOPE’. Advent Lights is a fun and visual way to unite and bless our local communities in the run up to Christmas. Once again, your child is invited to create beautiful craft stained glass windows after school to complement work created during tutor time.
Workshops will be available for year groups over the coming weeks on the following dates:
Thursday 03/12/2020 – Year 7 and 8
Tuesday 08/12/2020 – Year 9, 10 and 11
Thursday 10/12/2020 – Year 7 and 8
Tuesday 15/12/2020 – Year 9, 10 and 11
The workshops will run at Grace College from 15:30 – 16:30. These will be socially distanced and students will remain in their current year group bubbles.
Your son or daughter will be given the materials to help contribute to their tutor window display or to create their own window for home. Join in and let us spread HOPE in our homes, streets, town, region and beyond!
