Band and Bugles Durham Army Cadet Force
Students and ex students from Grace College took part in remembrance parades in Durham at the weekend. These students are all members of the Band and Bugles of Durham Army Cadet Force of which Mr Miller, the Head of Music, is the Director of Music for the Band. On Saturday night they were part of the largest concert in Durham Cathedral, outside of the Albert Hall in London. The band performed alongside the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and in front of a packed audience including three Lord Lieutenants from each county.
Remembrance Sunday had them take part in a service in Durham Cathedral and then lead the parade through Durham City. The parade was led by our Head Boy, Euan Gray, who is also the Bugle Major of the Band.
All students showed the Core values of the school in a professional manner and displayed courage and humility and acted for the good of others who are gave their lives in conflicts and wars.
