JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) update and publish exam regulation documents for candidates each year. These regulations are relevant to all students taking exams from Year 10 and above.
EXAM CONTIGENCY DATES:
In addition to the scheduled exam dates provided to candidates, there are also some exam contingency dates. The dates for 2026 are:
24 June (all day)
All candidates MUST be available on these dates as well as their scheduled exam dates (once received).

Revision Information
It is important to establish and embed good revision and exam techniques early on in secondary school to pave the way for future success. The annual ‘trial exams’ in Years 7–10 provide an excellent opportunity for students to cultivate strong learning habits to ensure that they are fully prepared for public examinations in Year 11 and Year 13.
